Tremelle is a native of Philadelphia, PA and has made metro Atlanta her home for almost two decades. She is a licensed attorney, community leader and joyfully services her community.
On June 16, 2012, the unimaginable occurred- her daughter Mikayla Courtney drowned in a residential pool. Ten years later, Tremelle channeled her pain into purpose writing her first book, Still Standing and establishing the Mikayla Cares Foundation, Inc.
The Mikayla Cares Foundation, a 501c3 organization is committed to educating children about water safety and supporting children as they advance through college.
Tremelle’s release of Still Standing is part of her life’s journey and healing as she continues to struggle well in response to the death of her beautiful daughter.
